This An-26 was given to Somalia by Libya in 1990 and was stored at NBO from 1993. It was previously 8204 with the Libyan AF, hence the derived Somali registration. Removal was ordered in 2020 and following auction next year, in March 2022 it was moved to a resort hotel at Ruiri in Kenya along with An-24 3C-ZZA which had been stored nearby at NBO This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
