Imagine my amazement as I was driving along the Southend seafront one Saturday and saw a procession of four YS-11s land one after another, all the more surprising as I'd shot them nicely just two months before in Malta. The other three were ex-Piedmont and had their individual "Pacemaker" names suitably adapted. Although this one was previously Gabon Government's TR-KIA, they still gave it a Piedmont-style scheme and name, "Suez Canal Pacemaker". The four were on delivery to PBA.
