Romania was the partner nation for NATO Days 2019. The Șoim (Hawk) is a Romanian advanced trainer and light attack aircraft capable of performing close air support and reconnaissance missions. The type replaced the Aero L-29 Delfin and Aero L-39 Albatros as the jet trainer for the Romanian Air Force. '725' is pictured here on a long, low take-off from rw04 to open the flying display on the second day of this show. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
