Unit: 801 Sqn. On board the HMS Victorious which was visiting Sydney. XN982 was damaged in Florida by a tractor on June 30, 1978 and returned to the UK as deck cargo for repair. The work was never completed and XN982 became a fatigue test aircraft before being scrapped. This photo is copyright © David Carter, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
