Camooweal, population 200, has an airport in 2019 but back when VH-UJM visited it likely landed at the racecourse and taxied up the main street to the pub. The aircraft passed through several hands after Qantas before ending up in Papua New Guinea where it was destroyed by enemy action during World War II. Photo from: State Library of Queensland
