VH-HCJ wears the chrome yellow and blue makings of the 1930s US Army Air Corps. It was however built after this scheme was dropped. The code "127" relates to the US civil registration N127H it wore before coming to Australia and not to its military service. -HCJ was registered in Australia in April 1987.
