Built by Geoff Wikner. Had to use an 80hp Anzani when he could not obtain the intended 40hp engine leading to official concern the airframe was overstressed. First flight January 25, 1931. Wikner was forced to sell the aircraft, which then had its CoA withdrawn in 1932. The Wicko was followed by the Lion and then the Wizard. Wikner moved to the UK where he designed and built 13 Foster-Wikner Wicko monoplanes - same name, different design. A replica of the original Wicko is displayed at Queensland Air Museum.
