Originally delivered to the Kuwait Air Force in 1963. The Caribou came back to Canada as C-GVYZ in 1979 flying for several companies and shown here with Air North at its Whitehorse base. Sold to Kenn Borek in 1988. Bought by Caribou specialist New Cal Aviation in 1992 and leased to Air Tindi for 3 years, Vintage Props and Jets acquired it in 1997 as N112CH, but unfortunately it was damaged in a windstorm at New Smyrna Beach, FL in August 2001 and made unflyable. It was broken up there 7 or 8 years later. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
