Rebuilt after a 1959 accident as a specialised aerial grass seeder with a hopper in the rear and a metal-clad fuselage. In 1965 it was further modified with a 190hp Lycoming engine. Withdrawn from use in 1975, it returned to register as in 1986 only to crash on May 16, 1987 at Luskintyre, NSW. The hopper had been removed and seats fitted and the fuselage was once again fabric covered. However, it retained the Lycoming engine. Kevin Kerle photo.
