While waiting at the immigration post between Chile and Argentina after a hiking trip in the Torres Del Paines national park an unexpected pleasure. I had already noticed the windsock in the field, but had not expected a visitor at this dirtstrip. A Chilean Air Force Twin Otter carrying government officials to inspect progress on controlling a wild fire in the National Park.
