Registered VH-CBM 12.11.54 to VH-RSV 7.1.57 to VH-WAU 1963 (no date in the register) to VH-AFG 1.7.63. The livery in the photo is as worn by club Chipmunks in the early 1960s and there are photos of it from 1960 in the club's earlier livery without tail stripes. While the photographer's name is no longer known, at the time the photo was received "early 60s" was the time scale given for it.
