This AOP6 was originally delivered to the RAF as VT996 but transferred to the Belgians in November 1947. After retirement in December 1957 it was registered OO-FDI and became part of the Musée Royal de l'Armée in Brussels in 1979. The plane was transferred to Letecké Muzeum Kbely in May 1993, possibly because in WWII the Czechoslovak fighter units in the RAF also used Austers for liasion duties. It is now on display at the Vojenské technické muzeum Lešany.
