Taxiing for a Runway 30 departure to its new UK base at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, after a fuel stop at Prestwick following a transatlantic arrival. Built in 1986. Became N228ME. Joined Vision Air at Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2001 and was re-registered N409RV in 2004. Acquired by ZeroAvia Inc of Hollister, California, in 2022 and initially held in storage. Possibly soon to adopt a UK registration.

This aircraft is being used in the development of a zero-emissions, hydrogen-electric propulsion system, initially for 20 seat aircraft.

This aircraft is being developed as part of ZeroAvia's HyFlyer II programme, which hopes to develop a hydrogen-electric, zero-emission propulsion system for airframes in the 10-20 seats size.
