Entered the US register in August 1978 as N5009K, so 40 years old at the photo date. Arrived in Iran in 1978. Used by the National Iranian Oil Company - NIOC for oil pipeline inspection. With Iran Helicopter Company at least since 2014 and sitting in the company hangar at Kish, surrounded by fellow (Agusta-) Bells.

Originating from a merger in 1979, Iran Helicopter Company (IHC) was named as such in 2004 and claims to be the largest non-military helicopter services provider in the Middle East. Half a dozen helicopter types make up its fleet of around 35.

Having been ordered in 1986, this Agusta-Bell was delivered to the Air Force of Zimbabwe in April 1988 as 658. Almost 27 years later, in January 2015, it left the military for a civil career as EP-HIS.
