This recce Phantom was moved to AMARC on 24 October 1989, received inventory code FP362. The airframe was not selected for the QRF-4C program, and strikingly, it was not scrapped by the usual suspect HVF West, Tucson (AZ). The RF-4C was disposed at AMARC itself on 12 February 2014.

With the pilots near ready in their mobile office and the crewchief helping them in their preparation for a new mission. This RF-4C looks in great condition! 25 years later that was completely different as 68-0576 was shot down as a QRF-4C drone over the Gulf of America on 14 August 2012. The aircraft left for AMARC on 2 May 1991 and was stored with ionventory code FP0668. It was selected for the drone program and left AMARC on 3 April 2009. It was flown over to BAE Systems at Mojave (CA) and was converted to QRF-4C. It then received 82nd ATRS code AF-366 and entered service in 2010.
