Some 10km west of the town of Afyonkarahisar, in Akören, this Do28D-2 can be found near a monument on a hill. It is preserved with the colours of the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) that inherited many aircraft from the Turkish armed forces. It was first noted here in September 2006 and after having served the Turkish military since 1983/1984.
