Helocasting is an airborne technique used by small unit, special operations forces. On this day, the Dutch army practiced it with D-485. After picking up a small unit of military, they were inserted in the nearby river. The Chinook assumes an altitude just above the water's surface and an airspeed of some 10 knots (19 km/h) or less. Team members then exit the aircraft and enter the water.
