Before being in Ecuador it flew for Elbeflug as D-ACUL, then for the Luftwaffe as GA+122 / 53+02. It flew for ATESA (Aerotaxis Ecuatorianos) in the 1980's and was seen in their hangar in Quito up until the early 90s. The plane was later chopped up, but the cockpit remained on the side of the road near Checa. It was later moved to a facility where they assemble wooden goods near Tumbaco where it remains until today.
