Morning moonset over the terminal. This building was constructed in 2014, and dedicated in a ceremony on May 25, 2015. It replaced the previous terminal, which was destroyed in a gustnado on July 1, 2012. The airport itself is listed in FAA data as having been activated in July of 1942; at that time it was a military airfield. The name "Warren Field" refers to North Carolina Congressman Lindsay Carter Warren.
