This is an all composite aircraft with a canard wing, the sole example built. Designed by Burt Rutan, it was donated to the EAA AirVenture Museum in 1997.

Quite the odd aircraft, designed by Burt Rutan in the 80s. The Grizzly, the only one of its kind, has belonged to the EAA Museum in Oshkosh since 1997.

The Grizzly was a canard proof-of-concept STOL bush plane. All composite, only one was built.The low wing was detrimental to true bush operations, but the aircraft was later cleared to be a tow plane for the company's Model 77 Solitaire motor glider. The aircraft was donated to the EAA AirVenture Museum in 1997.
