After being put into storage at the MASDC facility at Davis Monthan AZ in 1977 this F-100F (56-3812) was taken out of storage in April 1990 and converted into a QF-100F to serve as a target practice over the Gulf of Mexico. After little more than a year the aircraft returned to AMARC and eventualy became the property of the USAF National Museum. This organisation loaned the Super Sabre to the town of Duncan in the early 2000s who put the aircraft on display in the Veterans Park in the town.

The aircraft was at Mojave for conversion to QF-100F drone configuration by Tracor Flight Systems, however this was abandoned and it is now displayed on a plinth in the Veterans Park at Duncan, AZ.
