Remarkably, VH-PVR returned to the register 5½ years after it was smashed in a storm at Bankstown in January 1977. There must have been very little of the original aircraft remaining when it was finished. Nature was not yet finished with -PVR. It was again wrecked in a storm in December 2014, this time at Cowra, New South Wales.
