The Slingsby T21 is an open cockpit side by side glider which first flew in 1944. The T-21B first flew in 1947 and about 226 were built 95 of which were for the RAF as the Sedburgh TX.1. They were used by Air Cadets air experience flying and this was the glider type I first flew in in 1967
