Originally built as a Saab J35D with serial 35386 for the Swedish Air Force. It flew as code 34 with F4 and was withdrawn from Swedish service with 2.079 flying hours. The Draken was converted and upgraded with Chaff and Flare and Radar Warning Receivers by SAAB and FFV Aerotech to J35Ö for the Österreichische Luftstreitkräfte. It received a new construction number 351423 and serial 23 and was officially designated J35Ö Mk.II. Delivered to Austria in October 1994 and retired on 19 April 2005. It was returned to Sweden for dismantling and scrapped by Stena Metall in Halmstad.
