Crashed into the sea 80km south of Whyalla, South Australia, on July 6, 1994. The engine failed while survey equipment was being calibrated. Both the pilot and the technician escaped the sinking aircraft. However, they were not able to extract the lifeboat and pilot drowned trying to reach shore.
