This aircraft may be c/n W59. At the time it was the practice for the Ultralight Aircraft Association to allocate c/ns to homebuilts and they had a state prefix. W was Western Australia. There has been only one Australian registered Cassutt with a W prefix - W59. It had been allocated VH-IOP but this was not taken up and it became VH-CJP in August 1993.
