Just over a month before this shot was taken from a Cessna 172, the famous Starlifter 'Hanoi Taxi' arrived at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton to mark the end of an era as the last eight of the type were finally withdrawn. Here surrounded by KC-135s and F-111s, they were being broken up at quite a rate
