NAM Air (part of Sriwijaya Air) started as low-cost carrier in December 2013. At its peak, NAM Air operated eleven Boeing 737-500's, but is now down to just three at the time of upload. Since August 2025, mother company Sriwijaya Air offers direct flights from Makassar (Sulawesi) to Wamena (Papua), with a fuel stop in Timika on the way back. The new and revolutionary flight connection is contracted to NAM Air and 1994 built PK-NAS is seen here on one of it's first such flight. Initally flew for Continental and United as N19621, then as PK-CLO for Sriwijaya Air (between 2012 and 2016).
