The majority of the 214 C-160 Transall's built went to the armed forces of Germany, France, Turkey and South Africa. Only about 12 Transall's were civilian registered over the years, of which 9 were delivered to Pelita Air Service in Indonesia between 1981 and 1985. Four of those ended up with Manunggal Air, PK-VTR being one of them (ex PK-PTO). It still wears the basic Pelita livery in this 2008 picture. Manunggal Air went out of business in 2015.
