Early in the Balkan War, Croatia impressed all kinds of aircraft into its fledgling air arm without painting any ID on the aircraft. Vaguely one can read HT, which would make this the former YU-BHT. Some of the An-2s were used on bomber missions with the crew pushing barrels with explosives out of the door. One had been shot down on just such a mission just a few months before I took this photograph.
