This Staggerwing Beech started out as USAF 44-67727 then to the Royal Navy as FT478 and following that as BuNo 32876 with the US Navy. It became a civilian first as N1183V and finally N552 in 1970. Presently displayed in the Palm Springs Air Museum as a visitor.
