Reregistered VH-DOB in February 1961. The buyer complained that he was unaware of the impending grounding of wooden-winged Ansons. VH-DOB was left with Robby's at Parafield until it was dismantled in 1964. The fuselage was stored at a St Johns Ambulance station at Hindmarsh and the rest burnt. The fuselage was scrapped in 1967. VH-DOB was grounded before owner Bill Dobson to take it home ti Melbourne. Concerns over the Betel W glue used in the Anson's wooden wing and its engine-out performance led to the grounding order.

Ex VH-RAS, VH-DOB had been sold by Robby's of Parafield to a Bill Dobson in Melbourne. It had not been delivered before the order came through grounding Ansons. VH-DOB was towed into the open and eventually scrapped.
