On the other side of the runway of Yelahanka AFS, the Fixed Wing Training Faculty (FWTF) is based. These four venerable aircraft belong to this faculty. Leading the line is KA2727 (construction number 0702, delivered as K2727 to the IAF on 6 Jan'86), then An-32 KA2672 (c/n 0107, delivered as K2727 to the IAF on 22 Nov'84) and two BAe748-2Ms which were licenced built by HAL, H-2181 (c/n 575, delivered to the IAF on 21 Oct'70) and H-2182 (c/n 576, delivered to the IAF on 21 Oct'70). The four will be replaced by CASA C295s in the near future.

According to the Soviet Transports Data Files, this KA2711 (former K2711) was delivered to the IAF on 22 August 1985. The construction number is not confirmed for this serial but fits exactly in the other An-32s delivered.

Former K2730 and reregistered into KA2730 by 2018. 2730 mwas delivered to the IAF on 20 March 1986 and is now in its final days of operation. The type will be replaced by the CASA C295. The last confirmed unit of 2730 was 33 Squadron "Himalayan Geese" based at Sulur AFS, some 140 miles south of Bengalure. The An-32RE is a modernised version of the An-32. Its maximum take off weight was increased to 28,5 tons, and its payload increased to 7,5 tons. The RE is also equipped with new new avionics.

Delivered to the IAF on 13 May 1987 as K2755. Although unmarked, this An-32 is assigned to the Fixed Wing Training Faculty (FWTF) at AFS Yelahanka/Bengaluru. The An-32s of the IAF are slated for retirement soon and will most probably be replaced (likewise the BAe748) by the CASA 295.
