The Ampaire Electric EEL is a hybrid-electric, push-pull Cessna 337G with the forward piston engine having been replaced by an battery-powered electric motor to make a parallel hybrid configuration. The EEL is primarily a testbed aircraft for the development of high-powered electronics, inverters, motors, and related systems and is also aimed at charter and short-haul regional airline/cargo carriers.
