VH-DEA was registered from April 1979 until its registration was revoked in 2006. It had been involved in a accident at Kendenup, Western Australia in January 1991, when it cartwheeled after a wingtip touched the ground. The pilot survived but it is likely the badly damaged aircraft was beyond repair.
