This manned version of the V-1 was intended to be flown by a pilot until close to the target, at which point he would bale out. Chances of crew survival would have minimal. While test flights were undertaken, the project was abandoned before any operational missions were flown.

The Fi 103 was a manned development of the V1 flying bomb. The pilot was supposed to direct his craft onto its target and then parachute out. It was never put into action. Six Reichenbergers are known to exist.
