During the Nijmegen Marches, the US Army used to deploy a few helicopters to Nijmegen to support their troops taking part in the marches. This usually came from the 5/158 AvReg normally based at Bonames Airfield, Germany. During the four days of the marches, they operated from the sport fields of this army barracks in the centre of Nijmegen.
