On 27 November 1992, a failed coup d'etat attempt was made in Venezuela, with involvement from the air force on both sides. Twenty years later, a commemoration parade was organised in which this Su-30 would participate, among many other aircraft. This picture of 5965 was made during one of the rehearsals for the air parade.

West of the town of Edessa in North Greece, the small airfield of Panagitsa houses this TF-104G. It arrived here in 1997.

Parked on the flightline of El Libertador with 17 other Su-30s, 5965 is one of the aircraft to be flown rehearsing for this event.

This former Luftwaffe TF-104G Starfighter was handed over to Greece on 12 December 1988. It flew with 166 PM from Araxos air base up to March 1993. Only a few weeks after its retirement, the aircraft was photographed still at Araxos. In December 1993 it was moved to Larissa air base for a long period of storage., possibly up to November 1997. Then the dual Staf was moved again up north by road to Edessa/Panagitsa and was last seen there mid 2008.
