This slide was taken when Chanute AFB was still active. The a/c was being used as a ground instructional airframe. After the base closed this C-123 was on display there as part of the Octave Chanute Air Museum at least until 2002. After that there is no record of its location. It was no longer at the museum when it closed in 2015.
