This former US Navy T-28D Trojan was used as a chase plane for the AH-56 Cheyenne project, but was not fast enough to keep up with the helicopter. 137702 was replaced by a T-34 in 1987, the year that I took this photo. Not sure it was still in service. The T-28 is now preserved on the base.
