The A-37A on display in the Museum of Aviation was delivered after rebuild from a T-37B airframe by the Cessna factory to the 3rd TFW at Bien Hoa AB, South Vietnam in August 1967. After flying numerous combat missions, it returned to the US in 1970. It served at various locations before being converted to a GA-37 ground instructional airframe in 1974. It was transferred to the museum in 1991
