Built in 1932, the Viking Flying Boat Company titles relate to its time flying as an executive transport in New England in the 1930s, it subsequently changed hands many times and even spent a period as glider tug in New Mexico and Texas before being acquired by its current Kansas based owner in 1989. Beautifully restored over the following ten years, it won the Gold Lindy Grand Champion Antique award at Oshkosh in 2000.
