The Czech Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team traces its history back to 1960 when the Box Tréner team was formed at Chrudim with Zlin Z-26 aircraft. It was re-established with Z-50s in 1989 and became a Red Bull team in 2001. Jiří Saller, whose mount is seen here, joined in 1990 and left in 2015. He died of illness two years later, 64 years old.

Said to have been the first female leader of an aerobatic team in the world, Radka Máchová led the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team from 2002 until 2015, when she was 66 years old. She then joined the Pterodactyl Flight, flying the Fokker E replica OK-OUP-1.
