Lockheed Martin built F-35A, FMS serial 17-5316, made its first flight in somewhere in the June/July/August 2019 period, and was delivered to the RoKAF on 24 October 2019. It was then assigned to the 17 Fighter Wing at Cheongju (K-59) in South Korea in late 2020. The wing operates three squadrons Lightning IIs, 151, 152 and 156 Fighter squadron. The 5th gen aircraft are based at the military part of the international airport. Here 009 is heading for runway 24.
