On display at Jeju Aerospace Museum. ROKAF operated around 200 Phantoms over 55 years, with the first F-4D Phantoms touching down at Daegu AB on 29 Aug 1969 till the type was retired on 16 Jun 2010. This aircraft was taken on charge by ROKAF in Nov 1983. The RF-4C served from 18 Dec 1989 to 28 Feb 2014. The F-4E was inducted in 1977 and retired on 7 Jun 2024 at Suwon AB, making ROKAF one of the longest operators of the Phantom.

With two departing Republic of Korea Army MD500 Little Birds in the back ground over the city apartment building, this F-15K lands to its homebase Daegu. 048 was delivered to the RoKAF on 15 March 2011.

Lockheed Martin built F-35A, FMS serial 17-5320, made its first flight in November 2019 and was soon after delivered to the USAF's 944th Operational Group detachment 2, before it was assigned to the 17 Fighter Wing at Cheongju (K-59) in South Korea in late 2020. The wing operates three squadrons Lightning IIs, 151, 152 and 156 Fighter squadron. The 5th gen aircraft are based at the military part of the international airport. Here 013 is heading for runway 24.

Lockheed Martin built F-35A, FMS serial 17-5316, made its first flight in somewhere in the June/July/August 2019 period, and was delivered to the RoKAF on 24 October 2019. It was then assigned to the 17 Fighter Wing at Cheongju (K-59) in South Korea in late 2020. The wing operates three squadrons Lightning IIs, 151, 152 and 156 Fighter squadron. The 5th gen aircraft are based at the military part of the international airport. Here 009 is heading for runway 24.

The 11 Fighter Wing at Daegu commands three Slam Eagle squadrons, 102, 100 and 122 Fighter Squadron. This Slam Eagle made a missed approach to runway 31 at its homebase, creating a nice view from the underside of the piece a military airpower. It carries a sole AIM-9X Sidewinder, a Sniper XR Advanced Targeting Pod with an integrated AAS-42 Infra-red search and track in the pylon. The Slam Eagle was delivered via Nellis (Red Flag exercise) to the RoKAF in January 2012.

Returning from a possible QRA mission, this KF-16D (FMS serial 92-4040) is equipped with live AIM-9 Sidewinders and AIM-120 AMRAAMs. The F-16 is heading for runway 36R at homebase Chungju. The dual seat Falcon was manufactured under the Piece Bridge II program and by Samsung Aerospace. It was delivered to the RoKAF on 7 March 1996. In 2024 it was probably assigned to the 19 FW which is commanding one KF-16C squadron (155 FS) and two F-16C/D squadrons (161 and 162 FS).

It is most probably assigned to the 19 FW / 39 RW, 159 TRS. The 19 FW is commanding one KF-16C squadron (155 FS) and two F-16C/D squadrons (161 and 162 FS), while 39 RW has one KF-16 squadron. It was manufactured under the Piece Bridge II program and was possibly assembled by Samsung Aerospace. It is also reported that this F-16 is one of 18 modified to RF-16C. Thes are capable to carry a reconnaissance pod.

This KF-16C is assigned to the 159 Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron and carrying an Elbit Systems Condor 2 reconnaissance pod as well as live AIM-9 Sidewinders under the wings, and AIM-120 AMRAAMS at the wingtips. Since 2016, eighteen RoKAF KF-16Cs were modified to carry this huge pod. Semi-official they are designated RF-16C. The 159 FS was renamed 159 TRS after the retirement of the RF-4C. The 159 TRS belonged to both 19 Fighter Wing and the 39 Tactical Reconnaissance Group, and fully subordinate to the 39 Reconnaissance Wing since Nov'20.

This Lockheed Martin built C-130J-30 was delivered to the RoKAF on 2 June 2014 and assigned to the 5 Tactical Air Transport Wing, 251 Tactical Air Support Squadron at Gimhae air base.

FMS serial 81-0585, built under license by Hanjin Corp./Korean Air as KF-5E Jegongho. The type is withdrawn from service at Gangneung by fall 2024 and facing full retirement in the RoKAF in 2025. The Korean Tiger II is seen here returning from probably a Quick Reaction Alert mission while heading to runway 08. It is equipped with a centerline fueltank and on the wingtips live AIM-9P Sidewinders.
