The one and only MXP-150 Patriot on a nice trip to the beach (see background). This airfield is seeing very little use which is really a shame. It is really not far from the resort town of Salinas, and does not suffer the same restrictions as Salinas military airport does. The red aircraft is the first of only 2 MXP 800 Fantasy in Ecuador. In fact a loud siren is used to clear the people off the runway in case of any traffic, as the locals use it as a short cut when carrying heavy groceries across.
