Following a hydraulic failure the nose wheel failed to deploy whilst landing at Elstree on Feb 5, 2005. The props were feathered and remained undamaged during the emergency landing. Unfortunately as attempts were made to remove the aircraft from the runway the main wheels collapsed. The pilot and passenger escaped uninjured.

This rare aircraft still carries its Yugoslav Air Force serial. It looks in a very sorry state, in the open with no propellor and even the cockpit open to the elements, something I did at least put right. It was later restored to airworthy condition.

The aircraft is seen in a poor condition with mould growing all over the fuselage and wings. This type is rare in the UK and it is a pity that it is being left to rot

Destroyed in a fatal crash near Havenstreet, Isle of Wight on 4th September 2010 after a mid-air collision with RV-4 G-MARX.
