Sadly being broken up with the mighty Kuznetsov turboprops lying on the ground. This amazing machine was first registered in 5.61 and was operated jointly with JAL into Western Europe during 1967 in a 105-seat configuration, reverting to 220 in 1969. Wfu 1976 and preserved at the VARZ400 rework facility being used as a classroom for a time prior to this unfortunate demise

Originally RA-65720 and briefly leased by National from ISD Avia, only remaining in these colours for a few weeks. Then to Georgian National as 4L-GNA and then SAT Airlines as UN-65720 in 2007; noted as UP-T3409 at ALA 10.17

After a long period of storage with VARZ-400 at Vnukovo this 154 was refurbished and sold to Berkut as a VIP aircraft in 2.07, later becoming UP-T5401 with Kaz Air Jet then the Kazakh Govt, apparently even having roundels added under the wings

Seen here in KAPO S.P.Gorbunova's final markings, the aircraft passed to BGB Airlines at the end of 2006, then becoming UN-86586 next year with Sayat Air; reg changed to UP-I6205 and leased to Aria Air in Iran (still in the basic colours seen here) at the beginning of 2009

Operated by Krai Aero from May 1992 until sale in December 1996 to Arax as EK-85803. It looks as though there is a "technical problem" today with passengers and crew standing below the aircraft to shelter from the hot Moscow sun!

Ex CCCP-85565 of Aeroflot. Served Air Moldova from 1993. As usual, airport staff, male and female, wander at will over the apron without hi-viz clothing.

Damaged on landing at Mashhad on 20.2.02 and sent to Vnukovo for repairs but dbr there when nose gear broke off during towing. Used for spares by VARZ400 and remaining airframe thought to have been scrapped. Originally built as CCCP-85634 in 1987
