After a two day delay, twelve 8th Tactical Fighter Squadron F-15As arrived at Gilze Rijen air base as part of a Coronet Scout deployment. This 77-0081/HO arrived at quite common soil as, after its delivery to the USAF on 2 October 1978, it was assigned to the 32nd TFS at Soesterberg air base (the Netherlands) between December 1978 and May 1980. It then continued its USAF career with several CONUS wings. It was eventually stored at AMARC from 28 November 1986 to 21 April 2015 after which it was scrapped by HVF West at Tucson.

This Eagle was delivered to the USAF on 10 February 1979 and served the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing up at Holloman AFB (NM) up to 1992. It was then transferred to the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron at Soesterberg air base (the Netherlands) from October 1992 to November 1993. After a transfer to the Air National Guard, it was stored at AMARC from 27 June 2006 to 15 November 2011. It was then scrapped by HVF West at Tucson. It was moved to HVF West at Tucson on 16 June 2010 and subsequently scrapped.

Delivered to the USAF on 15 March 1979, this F-15A served the 49th TFW at Holloman AFB (NM) up to September 1990. It was then transferred to the 122nd FS of the Louisiana ANG were it was written off after an aborted take-off on 15 June 1998. The pilot used its ejection seat succesfully. One two zero is seen here during its arrival - with eleven other Eagles - in support of a Coronet Scout deployment to Gilze Rijen.

Two F-5Bs of the Turkish Air Force visited Gilze Rijen during a pre-visit for an upcoming squadron rotation with 314sq. This 01408 was a former USAF aircraft, was used for the training of Royal Saudi Air Force pilots in the USA in the early 1980s, and then delivered in a Military Assistance Program (MAP) to Turkey in 1986. The aircraft was withdrawn from use by the Turkish Air Force by June 2013.

They were used for training and operational deployment awaiting the delivery of the new Dutch AH-64Ds. The first 6 AH-64As were returned to the US Army in Sep'00. The final 6 were returned in Feb'01. This 25472 was later modified to AH-64D within the US Army and became serial 01-05264.

First flown on 5 October 1987 and delivered to the Luftwaffe on 19 April 1988, this Jagdbombergeschwader 34 is approaching runway 28 of Gilze Rijen. The Tornado was withdrawn from use in late 2012, it was stripped and dumped at Jever by mid-2013.
