Maurice Roundy has begun the restoration of his two L1649A's located at Auburn-Lewiston Airport.

This airplane was rescued from South America by Maurice Roundy. It stood derelict at Kenai, AK for many years.

The gorgeous DC-3 belongs to Mike Farray's Dakota Aviation Museum since 1993 and is seen here photographed at Maurice Roundy's Starliner Open House. It was still airworthy by 2005, but had been withdrawn from use at the owner's airstrip near Mason, NH by 2007. It was still there by 2022.

Maurice Roundy has begun the restoration of his two L1649A's located at Auburn-Lewiston Airport. 16C contributed two engines to the successful ferry flight of Maurice's third Starliner, N974R, last October.
